Early Impact Work

This page is where I’ll be documenting my first steps into independent research and impact projects — work that sits at the intersection of curiosity, creativity, and real-world relevance.

Starting after I complete university, I’ll be exploring topics I care about deeply, beginning with self-led research projects designed to investigate issues that affect freedom in everyday life — especially in relation to mental health, mindset and emotional wellbeing.

The first project I plan to undertake will explore how music functions as an emotional regulation tool in the mental health practices of young adults. This kind of research won’t just stay in theory — I’ll be using my findings to create practical resources, tools, or content that others can actually use.

Everything here is experimental, purpose-driven, and personal. It’s less about academic perfection and more about starting where I am — following questions that matter and building things that could help.

🎯 Coming Soon: Project #1

"To what extend does music function as an emotional regulation tool in young adults mental health practices. ”

Status: Pre-research phase (launching post-graduation, Summer 2025)
Focus: Investigating how young adults use music as a daily tool for mood regulation, mental clarity, and emotional self-management.
Goal: To create a set of practical, accessible tools and resources — grounded in lived experience and evidence — that empower people to better understand and support their own mental health using music.

📌 Updates, reflections, and findings will be published here as the project progresses.

- Specific research question is currently still in the works, the above is a provisional.
